Programs
The Oregon Health Care Foundation (OHCF) is dedicated to quality long term care for seniors in Oregon. This is achieved by providing educational opportunities for current and future employees at long term care communities in Oregon, enrichment of the lives of residents of these communities, and public outreach to enhance the public understanding and appreciation of the long term care profession.
To fulfill its mission of education, OHCF funds the following initiatives:
OHCF Scholarships
Promote careers in long term care by awarding scholarships to future and current professionals for continuing or advanced education.
OHCF Senior Wish Program
Promote the Senior Wish Program that fulfills the wishes for Oregon seniors by providing training to long term care professionals on how to conduct the program, and providing funding to help make the wishes a reality.
